Sony’s Next-Gen PSP2 Renders Surface.

A few images of Sony’s Upcoming PSP2 were leaked last month but weren’t clear. So the designers at PSM3 Magazine's brought up their own renders of the Next-Gen HandHeld Gaming Console which look exactly the same as the one leaked. The New console would use dual-analog stick design and the reworked button layout and will feature a slide form factor, the same as PSP GO.

The back includes a track-pad for easier navigation of the systemand webpages along with a camera on the back and front and microphone. But the Renders didn’t show up any details on the structure of the slider which is an important part of the upcoming console.

Sony Executives have also said that the console might include a touchscreen which may make it look much like the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play but the company is looking to keep the handheld very much differentiated from the Android-based smartphone.

Dual-Core smartphone launched

Islamabad —LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled the LG Optimus 2X, the world’s first smartphone with a dual-core processor. Along with more powerful multimedia features, the LG Optimus 2X’s high-performance Tegra 2 processor makes for faster, smoother web browsing and applications and lets users multitask with virtually no screen lag.

Sony Ericsson Phone : Wearable Around The Neck

Compact mobile phone designed for Sony Ericsson. This mobile phone is a personal, friendly object which is wearable around the neck. The user can use the three buttons (Busy, Accept, Reject) to handle the calls. The ‘Accept’ and ‘Reject’ buttons work in the regular fashion while the ‘Busy’ button allows the user to record a message such as ‘I am in a meeting right now’. When the button pressed during an incoming call, the phone plays the message for the caller. The concept of “call priority” is also introduced here. This is a feature which allows callers to set a priority for the call, such as emergency, normal, fun, etc. In return, the peeking display of the device glows with a certain color for certain priority levels when ringing. Will we see it in the future ? Let’s wait for Sony Ericsson answer …

SkyTran – Futuristic Public Transport with Maglev System

SkyTran is a concept for high-capacity and high-speed personal rapidtransport developed by an American Company UniModal Transport Solutions. This SkyTran system is two-passenger vehicles, propelled and suspended by maglev system. These are laid out in a one mile by one mile networked grid throughout the city. A large number of small departure and exit portals are placed underneath the guideways at approximately every 400 metres or at every city block.

SkyTran has no fixed routes or timetables. Users can simply enter any departure portal, get into the first empty vehicle in the queue and select their destination. The vehicle then speeds up on the acceleration lane and enters the high-speed overhead guideway.

Great concept, this will definitely reduce traffic jam, but with only two passengers for each pod, what about families ? Using SkyTran they have to sit separately. Hopefully UniModal will come up with new model or updated version of the SkyTran pods.

The LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is lighter, faster and more powerful than their previous version LP-640 which is already pretty fast. Lamborghini has increased the power of LP-670 to 670 hp and the 487 lb-ft of Lambo’s 605L V12 torque. D-roll is a next generation concept laptop design which is way distinctive from usual laptops in both shape and function. The long tube shape of this laptop, which was inspired from the storage tubes that artists are using for storing large drawings, eliminates perception of the traditional book looking laptops. This multifunctional laptop has two working modes. When it is operating in full function mode, the laptop is unfolded completely and all peripherals are turned on. The main display is turned off and a smaller screen, attached with main body is turned on allowing the users to check and send mails when D-roll is under email mode. VC is a helpful add-on for capturing pictures or videos and Locking System can provide certain security to the laptop.
